Thank you, teachers—we appreciate all you do! ❤️📚

Our students took on the challenge of designing and building their own marble catapults as part of learning about forces and motion. Using basic materials and creativity, the class divided into teams and made devices capable of launching marbles.
After researching the different energies, motion, and of course Newton’s Laws, students were able to put theory into action. They tested angles, adjusted force, measured distances, and changed their designs throughout the week.
The Auxiliary Gym was filled with cheers (and a dramatic miss!) as the small teams competed to see whose catapult launched the marble the farthest. Our farthest launch was 10.1m! For some students, learning is more fun when they can experiment and compete in a hands-on way.

As part of FCCLA Week, students are invited to dress for the career they want someday! Whether it’s professional, creative, or hands-on, show off your future goals and confidence.

Scotland/Menno controlled much of the game and carried a 35–30 lead into the fourth quarter, but the Eagles used a strong defensive push and timely shooting down the stretch to swing the momentum.
Hunter Yosten led the Trappers with 12 points and 7 rebounds, while Izayah Ulmer added 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. Erick Buechler turned in a solid all-around effort with 6 points and 5 rebounds, and Hunter Clark chipped in 8 points. Inside, Micah Goering pulled down 8 rebounds and added 4 points, helping keep the Trappers competitive on the glass.
Despite the tough finish, the Trappers showed strong effort through three quarters and battled until the final buzzer.
