The collection pails are out and ready in the following classrooms:
🍎 Elementary: In each classroom

📘 6th Grade: Mrs. Haberman’s Room
📗 7th Grade: Mr. Massey’s Room
📙 8th Grade: Mrs. Gramkow’s Room
🎓 High School (9–12): Mrs. Walloch’s Room
Thank you for helping collect $$$ for our local food pantry!
🏆 The class that brings in the most monetary donations will get to decide which of our brave participants — Mr. Schlimgen, Mr. Massey, Mr. Janish, Mr. Sundberg, Mr. Henry, Mr. Neumann, or Mr. Fuks — will sport the winning No Shave November look: Horseshoe, Goatee, or Mutton Chops!
Scotland’s first GOTR (Girls on the Run) season is officially complete! 5 volunteer coaches trained to become Girls on the Run coaches this fall before the season started on Sept 8. We spent our season 2x a week after school learning great lessons and moving our bodies together. The girls learned 8 strategies they could use in multiple areas of their lives, whether it be in school, sports, at home, or during a trying time all while training for a 5K. The girls made goals for themselves and crushed them each week. We finished out our season by completing a community impact project. They chose to decorate signs and wreaths for the GSC and chalk up the sidewalks to put smiles on the residents’ faces. Our final celebration was treating the girls to drinks at Maeday, handing out certificates, counting total laps ran throughout the season, and decorating new water bottles gifted by a generous donor! We had a great group run the 5K on Nov. 1st bright and early with an awesome cheering section. We are so proud of these young ladies for pushing themselves all season and we hope they will continue to use the strategies learned in this season of GOTR! 🩷🏃🏽♀️➡️💪🏼

The season opener for our Scotland/Menno Lady Trappers was a great day of learning, teamwork, and growth at the Wagner Tournament! By the third game, there were already so many good things happening on the court — great hustle, improved defense, and stronger teamwork showing through! 🙌
