With the forecast of wind, rain, and cold temps for Monday, April 27, the middle school Great Plains Conference Track Meet in Burke has been cancelled.

The seniors will present their senior projects to the public on Thursday, April 30, beginning at 5:15 PM. Presentations will conclude shortly before the band concert. The schedule is attached.

Any student in grades 8-11 who are interested in Football or Basketball Cheer for the 2026/27 School Year should contact Coach Sternhagen or Coach Johnston.

Open Gym to learn tryout materials is on May 3rd from 3-5pm in Scotland.
If you are unable to make open gym, you are still welcome to tryout and can learn the materials from videos provided by the coaches.
Tryouts are on May 13th at 3pm in Menno.
Tryouts are done in partners and consist of a toe touch and one other jump of your choice, three chants, one cheer, and a dance.

JV Win !💛🖤 Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers Take Lead And Never Look Back In Win Over Elkton-Lake Benton Junior Varsity Blue Sox By GameChanger Media Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers won big over Elkton-Lake Benton Junior Varsity Blue Sox 6-0 on Wednesday. Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Carson Pietz walked, Elkton-Lake Benton Junior Varsity Blue Sox committed an error, and Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run. Kolton Bierle earned the win for Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers. The hurler surrendered two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out nine and walking three. Noah Kinner took the loss for Elkton-Lake Benton Junior Varsity Blue Sox. The righty went three innings, giving up six runs (four earned) on three hits, striking out five and walking seven. Karsten Guthmiller, the number eight hitter for Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers, led the way with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Luke Bierle went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers in hits. Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating seven walks for the game. Pietz and Luke Plooster led the team with two bases on balls each. Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers turned one triple play in the game. Track fans attending the upcoming meets at Freeman.
There are some changes this year — the main grandstand has already been torn down to get ready for the new developments that will be happening this summer. The concessions will be food trucks this year and a coffee truck.
Bathrooms --- the school will be open both DOOR 4 and the MAIN Doors will be open, so the visiting lockers rooms are available and the main bathrooms, plus there will be 4 Port-a-Pots behind the temporary stands on the home side of the track.
Please bring lawn chairs as seating is not what is normally is at the track.

Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers Cling To Victory As Elkton-Lake Benton Varsity Blue Sox Nearly Erase 5-Run Deficit By GameChanger Media Despite seeing their 5-run lead whittled down by the end, Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers still held off for an 8-6 victory on Wednesday. Elkton-Lake Benton Varsity Blue Sox closed the gap by scoring on a single and a fielder's choice. Riley Keppen collected three hits in four at bats in the win. Keppen doubled in the fourth inning, singled in the sixth inning, and singled in the third inning. Elkton-Lake Benton Varsity Blue Sox opened the scoring in the top of the second thanks to two singles. Elkton-Lake Benton Varsity Blue Sox first got on the board when Colt Beck singled, scoring one run. Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers took the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning after Dylan Dvorak singled to the left side of the infield, and Keppen doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run. 🌎💚 Earth Day in Action! 💚🌎 Our 1st & 2nd graders took their Earth Day promise seriously today! We talked about how small hands can make a BIG difference and made a pledge to not be litterbugs. Then we put our words into action by heading to the park and helping clean up our community! 🧤🗑️ These amazing kids showed kindness to our Earth by picking up trash, working together, and taking pride in keeping our world beautiful. We are so proud of our little Earth helpers! 💚🌱
