We will host a doubleheader that evening, with Parker at 4:00 PM and Wagner at 6:00 PM.

Parents will be introduced prior to the second game. Please plan to arrive by 5:30 PM.

Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers Fall After Strong Showing By Hanson Junior Varsity Beavers
April 9, 2026 vs. Hanson Junior Varsity Beavers
Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers couldn't keep up with Hanson Junior Varsity Beavers and fell 11-3 on Thursday at Marion.
Hanson Junior Varsity Beavers got on the board in the first inning after #6 drew a walk, scoring one run.
Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers made the score 3-1 in the bottom of the first after Rames doubled, scoring two runs, and a wild pitch scored one run.
Hanson Junior Varsity Beavers flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring five runs on one hit to take the lead, 9-3. The biggest blow in the inning was an inside the park grand slam by #3 following a 6-pitch at-bat that drove in four.
Hanson Junior Varsity Beavers scored five runs on two hits in the top of the third inning. #5 tripled, scoring one run, #7 drew a walk, scoring one run, #8 doubled, scoring one run, and #11 drew a walk, scoring one run.
Neuharth opened the game for Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers. The starter gave up one hit and nine runs over one and one-third innings, striking out none and walking 11.
Rames provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers with two runs batted in. The second baseman went 1-for-1 on the day. Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Hargens made the most plays with two.

Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers had trouble keeping up with 2026 FMFA Phoenix JV in a 13-2 loss on Thursday at Marion.
Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers were the first to get on the board in the first when a steal of home scored one run.
2026 FMFA Phoenix JV flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring five runs on one hit to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a walk by Taylor that drove in two.
2026 FMFA Phoenix JV scored five runs on two hits in the bottom of the second inning. Waltner was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Konda doubled, scoring two runs, and Taylor singled, scoring two runs.
2026 FMFA Phoenix JV added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning when Bradley drew a walk, scoring one run, and #7 singled, scoring two runs.

Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers were victorious against Parker JV 9-7 on Thursday at Marion.
Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers got on the board in the top of the first inning after Derby singled, Neuharth walked, Loftis walked, and Wielenga grounded out, each scoring one run.
Parker JV flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring five runs on two hits to take the lead, 5-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a triple by #4 that drove in two.
Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring five runs on one hit to take the lead, 9-5. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Loftis that drove in two.
Neuharth earned the win for Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers. The starting pitcher surrendered four hits and seven runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking eight.

Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers had trouble keeping up with Bon Homme JV in a 10-3 loss on Monday at Scotland.
Bon Homme JV got on the board in the top of the first inning after #10 walked, #9 walked, #6 walked, #18 was struck by a pitch, and #19 walked, each scoring one run.
Bon Homme JV extended their early lead with five runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI walks by #13, #10, #9, #6, and #18.
#2 earned the win for Bon Homme JV. The starting pitcher allowed zero hits and three runs over two innings, striking out two and walking five.
Loftis, Neuharth, and Bueber each drove in one run for Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers. Schaeffer stole two bases. Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers had a strong eye at the plate, collecting five walks for the game. Scotland/Menno Junior Varsity Trappers ran wild on the base paths, tallying five stolen bases for the game.
The Scotland/Menno JV will head to Marion on Thursday for a JV Quad.

April 6, 2026 vs. Bon Homme Varsity Cavaliers
Despite leading by as many as five runs, Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers fell to Bon Homme Varsity Cavaliers 13-6 on Monday.
Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to three walks. Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers first got on the board when Hlavac drew a walk, scoring one run.
Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers added two runs in the second after Guthmiller grounded out.
Bon Homme Varsity Cavaliers captured the lead, 6-5, in the top of the fourth when Kaul doubled, scoring one run, and Alberts singled, scoring two runs.
Bon Homme Varsity Cavaliers scored six runs on two hits in the top of the seventh inning. Sedlacek was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Kaul hit a grand slam to right field, and Tjeerdsma singled, scoring one run.
Kaul earned the win for Bon Homme Varsity Cavaliers. The right-handed pitcher surrendered three hits and six runs (five earned) over seven innings, striking out 12 and walking 13. Guthmiller took the loss for Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers. The hurler went seven innings, surrendering 13 runs (10 earned) on 11 hits, striking out 12 and walking eight.
Guthmiller and Kubal each drove in two runs for Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers. Bierle led Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers with two hits in three at bats. Schaeffer led Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting 13 walks for the game.
