Reading is better with a buddy! 🧸📖
Students can bring a favorite stuffed animal to school (must fit in backpacks) to be their reading companion for the day.
Snuggle up with a good book and a good buddy! 💕

Don't forget! When you register and send 10+ invitations, it helps classroom teachers earn shopping sprees for classroom supplies or books. Thanks for supporting our teachers!

The Trappers finished 2nd place in the LMVC Conference, with our only conference loss coming to Wagner on a buzzer beater. A tremendous accomplishment for this group!
Congratulations to our conference selections:
⭐ Izayah Ulmer

⭐ Erick Buechler
⭐ Hunter Yosten
Proud of these guys and the entire team for representing Scotland/Menno the right way all season long.

Got an hour this Friday? 📚✨ Make it count!
Read Across America Week is here (March 2–6), and we’re wrapping it up in the best way — with YOU! Join us this Friday, March 6 from 2–3 PM in the auxiliary gym to read with one of our students.
We’re inviting parents, grandparents, and community members to share the joy of reading and make a lasting impact — all in just one hour. 💖📖
Want to be part of it? Email rani.maxwell@k12.sd.us to sign up.
We can’t wait to fill the gym with stories and smiles. Will we see you there? 👏✨

A tough first quarter proved to be the difference, as the Pheasants built a 14-point lead early, and the Trappers were unable to chip away at the margin the rest of the way.
Izayah Ulmer led the Trappers with 17 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals, while Hunter Clark added 16 points and 4 rebounds.
Micah Goering contributed 8 points and 2 blocks, and Hunter Yosten finished with 7 points and 8 rebounds. Erick Buechler added 6 rebounds, helping the Trappers compete on the glass.
The Trappers finish the season with a 5-16 record, but many of those games were tight contests that could have gone either way. This group battled all season and continued to compete until the final buzzer.
A special thank you to seniors Erick, Hunter, and Izayah for their leadership, dedication, and impact on the Trapper program.
