The Scotland/Menno Trappers squared off against the Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks, and both varsity games came down to the wire with outstanding performances on both sides.
🏀 Lady Trappers went on a strong run and battled until the final horn, falling just short 39–35.

After all the hard work of photoshoots and editing elementary student photos to be sent home before Christmas break, these Photo I students finally had some fun doing their own photoshoot. Some didn’t want to step in front of the camera and instead enjoyed the view from behind the viewfinder.

This Visual Communications class wrapped up the semester with one final project: designing a greeting card from scratch using Adobe Illustrator. Since these students only meet twice a week, they had to use their time wisely to complete such detailed designs. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The Trappers competed in the largest MS/JV tournament of the season, featuring 500+ wrestlers from across the state. Our athletes faced tough competition throughout the day and gained valuable experience.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Tournament Recap – Plankinton
We faced some very tough competition at the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Tournament. Several of our wrestlers matched up against highly rated opponents, and the experience was invaluable.
A huge highlight for our program was Aydden Trautmann, who became the first wrestler in Trapper history to reach the finals, finishing 2nd place. An outstanding accomplishment!
While there’s still plenty to work on, this tournament was a great way for our varsity group to head into Christmas break. Keep in mind, all of our wrestlers competing were only 7th and 8th graders at a varsity meet, making their performances even more impressive.

It was a hard-fought night on the court for the Scotland/Menno Trappers against Hanson.

💛 Thank you to everyone who came out to support a very special night as Menno dedicated their Track as the Jim Sattler Track. It was wonderful to see so much community support and to welcome so many alumni back home to celebrate this meaningful honor.

The 5th-8th Grade ELA Classes wrote and performed their own mini play for their classmates and some of the groups also performed for some of the elementary classes. It was fun watching the creativity and collaboration of these students. SMS has very talented students.
