Mr. Janish is taking a class through SURF and BHSU and had the opportunity to tour the Sanford Underground Research Facility today. He even traveled down to the 4,850-foot level—nearly 0.9 miles underground!
During the tour, the class got to see the LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) experiment, home to the world's largest dark matter detector. What an incredible hands-on learning experience to bring back to our students this fall!

Next stop: Sanford Sports Team Camp! We're excited to compete, grow as a team, and continue building toward a great season. Keep working and keep improving! The work you put in now will pay off later.

These girls put in the work at the Cornbelt Varsity Team Camp on Wednesday and Thursday! 🏀💪
Head Coach Schlimgen's comments:
"Summer is for getting better and we did that over the last two days. We competed, played hard, and had some smiles. We need to keep improving our offensive skills but we did do a good job in half court defense."
The team has another team camp in July and open gyms during the week. It will be exciting to continue to watch them build and improve and get ready for next season. Great job, girls! 👏🖤💛
