One of the key objectives of TOP is to incorporate community service into students’ everyday lives—and these recent activities highlight that goal in action.
The 7th grade Wednesday group participated in Kindness Day by creating positive and encouraging messages. Students researched famous quotes or wrote their own, then shared them on Post-it notes throughout the school. Some also chose to write heartfelt “thank you” notes to teachers, staff, and other positive influences in their lives. The activity brought a lot of joy as students helped “brighten the hallways” across the elementary, middle, and high school.
The 7th grade Monday class partnered with the organization Cards for Hospitalized Kids. Students created cards—either designing their own or using premade templates with uplifting messages—that will be distributed to children in hospitals across the country. Many recipients are facing chronic or serious illnesses, making these messages of encouragement especially meaningful. It was wonderful to see students’ creativity and compassion come to life through this project.
These experiences are a great example of students using their time and talents to make a positive impact in their community and beyond. 💛

🧡🖤 Reminder for Today! 🖤🧡
There will be a 1:00 PM dismissal today due to teacher in-service.
🚗 Driver’s Education Update:
Driver’s Ed will be tomorrow (Wednesday, March 18) from 1:00–4:00 PM.
➡️ There will be no class Friday morning.
📅 Upcoming schedule remains the same:
April 8, 15, 22, 29 (Wednesdays)
3:10–5:40 PM each session
Thank you!

Students created pixel art using Google Sheets, following a set pattern while choosing their own colors to make each design unique. From shamrocks to leprechauns and festive messages, they turned simple spreadsheet cells into creative digital artwork.
It’s been fun to see how each student put their own spin on the same design—great job, 6th grade! 🌈🍀
